A relaxed version of the classic Nubra–Pangong route, offering more time at Pangong Lake. Perfect for first-time visitors who want scenic drives, cultural visits, and unhurried exploration.

Itineraries

Day 1

Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La

Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La. Visit Diskit Monastery and Hunder Sand Dunes.
Overnight: Hunder / Diskit

Day 2

Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake

Visit Sumur Village and Samstanling Monastery in the morning. Continue to Pangong Lake via Shayok Road and Tangtse.
Overnight: Pangong Lake

Day 3

Pangong Lake – Full Day Exploration

Spend the day soaking in the beauty of Pangong Lake. Visit Spangmik village, meet locals who rear pashmina goats, or enjoy a short lakeside walk.
Overnight: Pangong Lake

Day 4

Pangong Lake – Leh

Drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass. Visit Chemrey, Hemis, Stakna, Thiksey Monasteries, and Shey & Stok Palaces along the Indus Valley.
Return to Leh by evening.
