Welcome to Leh — the heart of Ladakh, where glaciers meet the Great Himalayas.

Upon arrival at Leh Airport, the BookLadakh team will warmly receive you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in.

Since Leh sits at a high altitude (11,500 ft), today is reserved for rest and acclimatization. Relax, hydrate, and allow your body to adjust before the adventure begins.

After breakfast, we drive along the scenic Indus River.

Highlights include:

• Sangam – Confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers
• Magnetic Hill
• Gurudwara Pathar Sahib

A relaxed sightseeing day designed for gradual altitude adjustment.

Duration: 4–5 hours

Terrain: Intermediate (High mountain pass roads with curves & elevation gain)

Today we cross the legendary Khardung La Pass (17,582 ft), one of the world’s highest motorable roads.

After soaking in panoramic Himalayan views, we descend into Nubra Valley — a rare cold desert framed by snow-capped peaks.

Visits include:

• Diskit Monastery
• Hunder Sand Dunes
• Double-humped Bactrian camel experience (optional)

Distance: 180 km

Duration: 5–6 hours

Terrain: Advanced (Mountain roads with occasional rough patches)

We drive via the scenic Shayok Route towards Pangong Lake.

Pangong Tso, one of the highest altitude saltwater lakes in the world, mesmerizes visitors with its ever-changing shades of blue.

Spend time relaxing by the lake, exploring the surroundings, and capturing unforgettable photographs.

Duration: 4–5 hours

Terrain: Intermediate (High-altitude pass crossing)

Wake up to a stunning sunrise at Pangong Lake.

We return to Leh via Chang La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in Ladakh.

• Thiksey Monastery
• Shey Palace

Arrive in Leh by evening.
