Welcome to Leh – the gateway to Ladakh. Upon arrival at Leh Airport, our team will receive you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in.

Since Leh is located at a high altitude, the first day is reserved for acclimatization. Rest, hydrate, and allow your body to adjust to the mountain environment.

In the evening, meet the expedition team for a briefing, route overview, and journey preparation before the adventure begins.

After breakfast, explore some of the most iconic landmarks around Leh.

Visit Shanti Stupa, Hall of Fame War Memorial, Magnetic Hill, and Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, followed by a stop at Sangam – the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers.

The day is relaxed and scenic, helping you gradually adjust to Ladakh’s altitude while discovering its cultural and natural highlights.

Today the journey heads north across one of the most famous high-altitude passes in the world.

Cross the legendary Khardung La Pass before descending into the dramatic landscapes of Nubra Valley, a rare cold desert surrounded by snow-covered peaks.

Visit Diskit Monastery, home to the impressive Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley.

Later arrive at Hunder village, known for its white sand dunes and rare double-humped Bactrian camels.

After breakfast, travel along the scenic road towards Turtuk, one of the northernmost villages of India near the Indo-Pak border.

The village is famous for its Balti culture, stone houses, and apricot orchards set against dramatic mountain scenery.

Continue towards Thang village, one of the last accessible settlements before the Line of Control.

Return to Nubra Valley by evening for a relaxed night in the mountains.

After breakfast, travel towards Pangong Lake via the adventurous Shyok River route.

This scenic Himalayan road passes through isolated valleys and rugged mountain terrain, offering constantly changing landscapes.

By afternoon, arrive at the spectacular Pangong Tso, famous for its mesmerizing shades of blue and vast mountain backdrop.

Evening at leisure beside the lake enjoying the peaceful high-altitude surroundings.

Today is the most adventurous and extreme day of the expedition.

Travel through remote high-altitude terrain visiting Chushul, a historic region near the India-China border.

Continue towards the legendary Umling La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads on Earth.

After crossing the pass, proceed towards Hanle village, known for its peaceful landscapes and the famous Indian Astronomical Observatory.

The region is renowned for its incredibly clear night skies and remote Himalayan beauty.

Day 08 Departure from Leh After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport according to your flight schedule.
